Still trying to get into the swing

Some of the shapes were OK. First two 5 minutes:

Then two 10 minutes.

Then a 20 minutes.

Finally just under one hour.

Life drawings

A couple of 10 minutes, one 20 minute and an hour for the last one.

Waves

Some oil pastels based on holiday photos.

On your marks, get set, go.

Different times on Monday. First 10 minutes.

Then 25.

Finally one hour.

Rust

First session for 3 weeks. Didn't judge the time well though the shapes were getting better by the end.

5 minutes each.

Then ten minutes.

Then 15 minutes.

Finally 20 minutes.

Summer-time blues (or purple and turquoise)

Just one pose. About 90 minutes in hard pastel on 75cm x 55cm

Stuck in the corner

Had problems with proportions today as I was very close to the model and could not move back as I was in the corner with the spare easels. First a couple of 10 minutes.

Then 30 minutes

Finally one hour.
