Reflections and rotations

A couple to draw on Monday. Two 5 minute poses and two 10.

Long poses about 1 hour 45 minutes each in coloured pencil.

Carving clay

The pose has the model kneeling for this so I started carving out the pose from a solid block to provide more support to the base. It might be interesting to leave some of the support in the final work. Four hours so far.

Line and shade

All 20 minute poses in pastel pencil.

Aldeburgh at dusk

Still working on this. The plan was to make it abstract but didn't manage it.

Channelling Lichtenstein

The poses for Monday's session was the painting Blue Nude by Roy Lichtenstein

Acrylic 2 hours.

Coloured pencil, 1 hour 30 minutes.

In a festive mood.

Champagne and mince pies at today's life drawing session. Not sure it improved the drawings. Two 10 minute poses.

Then 50 minutes for the long pose.
