Few weeks scribbles

Not posted for a while due to holidays and things. Not sure where these scribbles are going.

Bit of rust

After 3 weeks with very little drawing took a while to get back into things.
These weren't too bad though.

Hair today

Tonal studies (of sorts). Emphasis on hair textures.

Not much time to draw, getting ready for my Brother's visit. However, three of the four drawings tonight seemed to work. Maybe I'm getting less particular.

Caricature

Having problems making the drawings not look like cartoon figures. I think it is the hard outlines.

The eyes have it

Did some studies based on Vanderpoel. Not sure what I was doing here: the text doesn't match the images and the images are so small. Having said that it does seem to help you think about the shapes which is what it is all about.
