Sticks and shapes

Quick poses A2, wax pastel with 4 foot canes. About 2 or 3 minutes each. Poor photos due to use of newsprint (quite dark paper so I've increased the contrast).

Longer poses the focus was supposed to be on negative shapes though I just concentrated on shapes. 10, 20 then 30 minutes. First in felt pen, others in charcoal and charcoal pencil.

Simples

I need to write this on every paper before starting.

Two 20 minutes and a 50 minutes. Charcoal and charcoal pencil on A2.

Long shorts / short longs

I probably should have measured more on Thursday. First 3 twenty minute drawings.

A thirty minute drawing to finish.

New term

Start of the term on Tuesday and a lot of new people. I think because of this the short poses were safe: all 10 minutes any media/technique/hand. All A2, charcoal and charcoal pencil.

Long pose an hour. same medium.

Looking for flow

A bit clumsy on Thursday particularly with faces (forgot how to simplify making features too large). 15, 20 and 40 minutes.

Smudges and lines

A bit out of proportion tonight. 5 minutes, 10 minutes and one 20 minutes.

Point three recurring

All poses 20 minutes on Tuesday. Charcoal and charcoal pencil on A2.
