Follies

Poses on Tuesday had a lot of energy and were supposed to represent the Follies Bergere (complete with feather boa). Four 5 minutes.

Three 10 minutes

Long pose 45 minutes coloured pencils.

Foreshortened

First some quick poses. 10 minutes in charcoal pencil.

Almost got it right. 90 minutes coloured pencil.

Big shapes

Tuesday's poses were based on Edward Weston's dune nudes. All 20 minutes, charcoal and charcoal pencil on A2. Still trying to simplify.

Hands and feet

First some cane drawings. Three minutes each on A2.

Then the hands (7 minutes each) and the feet (5 minutes each).

Then a 22 minute pose.

Standing room only

Standing poses only on Tuesday (poor model). First some 5 minute drawings with oil pastel using 4ft canes.

Then some 10 minute poses in coloured pencil.

Then two poses which were about 22 minutes each. Coloured pencils again.

Ominous Shadows

Just two on Tuesday, both charcoal on A2 paper. First is twenty minutes.

Then one hour 10 minutes

Two's company

Two models on Monday (who I'd previously drawn separately lots of times). First some 15 minute charcoals.

Then two long poses: 1 hour then 2 hours. Both coloured pencil on A2.
