I did the foreshortened pose sitting on the floor and close to the model to emphasize the perspective. The first was about one hour, the second 30 minutes.

Overtime
Struggled tonight. First some 2 minutes (one is with left hand).
Long pose we were supposed to be drawing in the style of another artist. This was supposed to be Giacometti. About 80 minutes in pastel pencil.

Composing and deconstructing
More wipeouts in charcoal like last week. Concentrating on the composition and also incorporation of cast shadows (not focus just on the figure).

Wipeout
Working dark to light by preparing the paper with charcoal and then using an eraser to remove the highlights tonight. We did the quick poses in a similar fashion. These are 5 minutes on A2 though the last was nearer 3 as I'd only prepared 2 sheets.
Long pose about 90 minutes. Added charcoal pencil and used watercolour paper to add texture.
